JOB PURPOSE

Providing leadership, management, and development of an agreed portfolio of CBRE contracts, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, guidance and expertise across a client account to ensure that contractual
commitments are met and exceeded.

  • Ensure business policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and adhered to
within contracts.

  • Ensure there is a healthy and safe working environment across the portfolio, and that both clients and
CBRE health and safety policy/process is effectively implemented across both internal and sub-contracted
activities.

  • Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of
service excellence.

  • Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload, disaster recovery, and the sharing of expertise
across the portfolio.

  • Ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent teams, taking direct responsibility for the appointment of
Contract Managers/functional Managers, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in
place.

  • Ensure the provision of a learning environment, with appropriate training and development planning so
that mandatory training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles and
are positioned to reach their full potential.

  • Work with other operational managers to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective
teamworking, and support to colleagues throughout the Business Unit.

  • Development of financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and
contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.

  • Ensure appropriate contract governance exists across your portfolio including, client meetings, internal
reviews, audit and control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.

  • Support effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to
management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and
ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.

  • Promote and maintain the core Values of CBRE. Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development
of contracts are optimized, driving improvements in customer service, resulting in increased turnover and
profitability for CBRE.

  • Support the sales process through solution development, participation in presentations and consultation
meetings, hosting visits, and support mobilization as required on new contracts.

  • Ensure the contracts within your portfolio are well-positioned for contract renewal/extension, and lead
on the solution/proposal development process to secure this.

  • Support organic growth across the portfolio by acquiring additional service lines and project work across
the patch.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; Requires 8 years or more of relevant work experience.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles using a distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management, and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take the desired action.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions are made with an in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies, and business
practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Manages very large projects with significant dollar impact/risk, and supervises/monitors other Project Managers' efforts. Errors in judgment
may cause long-term impacts on co-workers, supervisors, departments, and/or lines of business.
